WHAT IS DIRECT PRIMARY CARE?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) practices offer patients the full range of comprehensive primary services, including routine care, regular checkups, preventive care, and care coordination in exchange for a flat, recurring retainer fee billed to patients on a monthly basis. DPC is an innovative alternative payment model for primary care being embraced by patients, physicians, employers, payers and policymakers across the United States. The defining element of DPC is an enduring and trusting relationship between a patient and his or her primary care provider. DPC enables unhurried interactions and frequent discussions to assess lifestyle choices and treatment decisions aimed at long term health and wellbeing. DPC practices have extended hours, ready access to urgent care, and patient panel sizes small enough to support this commitment to service. DPC also meets the requirements of the Affordable Care Act.
WHAT IS THE COST FOR DPC AT BEAIR MEDICAL GROUP?
Individual: $75 per month
Couple: $125 per month
Family: $150 per month (includes two adults and up to four children)
WILL I HAVE TO PAY A FEE FOR MY OFFICE VISIT?
No, your membership covers all of your office visits. There is no copay, the only time you will have to pay a fee is if we have to send your lab/blood work to be analyzed. In addition to your membership, you will also receive discounted rates for lab/blood work and medications from our in house pharmacy.

DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP TO GO TO YOUR CLINIC?
No! We are a Hybrid Practice which means we offer monthly membership plans as well as accept patients with traditional insurance.
